The Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan brings to your attention that in order to implement the state policy of the Republic of Tajikistan to increase the environmental awareness of the population and the interest of journalists in promoting environmental protection, the implementation of the goals of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018 -2028 years”, worthy preparation for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the implementation of the UN General Assembly resolution on declaring 2025 the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers among media workers, a republican competition for the best journalistic material on the topic “Glaciers of Tajikistan - a source of clean water and the basis for the development of a green economy.

Materials for the competition (for television, radio and newspapers) are presented in Tajik and Russian. The participant of the competition must provide the competition commission with a reference document, which indicates the name, surname, address, telephone number and information about the media in which the article was published. The certificate is accompanied by a copy of the article, radio and television broadcasts with a disk and annotation of the material in A4 format, font 14 Times New Roman Tj.

Electronic copies of materials are sent to media@tajnature.tj.

The competition will last until August 15, 2023 and will be summed up on the eve of the State Independence Day. The winners of the competition will be awarded with gifts and diplomas of environmental authorities.
