Dushanbe - a blooming city

The Environment Protection Department of Dushanbe city in the implementation of the instruction of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan to conduct ecological campaigns "Clean Coast", "Clean Terrain" and in implementation of the instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity -Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, distinguished Emomali Rakhmon in connection with the International Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, with the involvement of relevant municipal services in the city, according to the plan on the streets, squares and protocols.
In order to make the gardens, alleys, protocol streets more beautiful and attractive, the streets were decorated with flowers and bushes of different kinds and colors in accordance with the decorative compositions suggested by specialists, which add real beauty to the appearance of the capital.
More than 7 million flowers were planted in the districts, parks, alleys and protocol streets of the city in honor of the 30th anniversary of state independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and in preparation for the International Summit of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
In order to raise the level of environmental awareness and education of the population, preserve urban culture and contribute to the implementation of the "State Comprehensive Programme on Development of Environmental Education of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" meetings with different population groups, in particular, educational institutions were organized in the city.
