Operation "Clean Air" on the highway Khujand - B. Gafurov

In order to reduce emissions into the atmosphere and improve the environment and based on the work plan of the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of Atmospheric Air and Analysis in collaboration with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Sughd province police conducted an operation "Clean Air" on the highway Khujand - B.Gafurov.

During the raids, 50 cars of different brands were checked and emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere, as a result of burning fuel (diesel fuel, gasoline and liquefied gas) were determined. Administrative cases were initiated against the drivers of four vehicles for violating state standards and emitting excessive amounts of pollutants into the atmosphere. A protocol was drawn up and sent to the State Automobile Inspectorate of the district for action.
