“GREEN COUNTRY” PROGRAM IN ACTION: SEEDLING PLANTING ACTIONS IN THE CITIES OF DUSHANBE AND VAHDAT                   

                                          

On March 16 of this year, a tree-planting campaign was held on the hills along Ayni Street in the Shahmansur district. During the event, participants planted more than 500 ornamental pine seedlings.

The chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sheralizoda Bakhodur, and the Deputy Chairman of the city of Dushanbe, Rahimzoda Tolib, took part in the planting process.

Also on this day, a landscaping campaign took place on the Dushanbe-Vahdat highway. This event took place on the territory of the Bakhor Jamoat. More than 300 people, representatives of all districts of the city of Vahdat, took an active part in this action.

During this greening campaign, about 1000 pine trees were planted. It is worth noting that the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection, Sheralizoda Bahodur, and the Chairman of the city of Vahdat, Ismoilzoda Mirzo, also took part in this action.
