“Clean Coast” and “Clean Area"campaigns in the city of Hissar                                                                                 

In order to implement the Action Plan dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, and in accordance with the plan provided by the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Hissar, work continues on landscaping and environmental activities.

At the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection, environmental campaigns “Clean Coast” and “Clean Area” were held this week in the city of Hissar with the participation of more than 450 residents of jamoats and employees of local structures of the city, and settlements around administrative buildings, along the canal and stream were cleared of various waste. As a result, 6 m3 of waste was collected and with the help of two units of special equipment were taken to the city landfill.

It is expected that such environmental campaigns will be held in other rural jamoats of the city.
