Activities during the fishing ban period                         

                                                                

In order to fulfill the order of the chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the head of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region “On the implementation of measures to protect fish resources during the spawning period of 2023”, employees of the environmental protection department in the city of Khujand carried out urgent raids.

Such an operation was carried out at the “20th Anniversary of Independence” market in the city of Khujand, as a result of which an order was issued to the head of the market to prevent the purchase, sale and preparation of fish during the spawning period. Explanatory work was carried out among the sellers of outlets, and information boards were installed in the market.
