Another trip of ecojournalists club members to the city of Nurek

                                       

On October 28 of this year, on the basis of the plan approved by the Committee for Environmental Protection, a trip of members of the eco-journalists club was organized to the reservoir of the city of Nurek. In turn, within the framework of the events of the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", this facility was chosen to raise water management issues. During the trip, media representatives visited the Nurek reservoir. S. Sudurzoda, Head of the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of Water Resources of the Committee, presented to the members of the club detailed information on the topic "The national and regional significance of this reservoir and its contribution to the ecological, agricultural, economic and social spheres of the republic".

During the discussion of this topic, the participants discussed various aspects of the reservoir's contribution to the development of energy, agriculture, economy and adaptation to climate change.
