Biotechnical works in Penjikent city and Ayni district                                                                    

On the basis of the Directorate of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region on the initiative of the department and sector of environmental protection of the city of Penjikent and the Aini district, in order to safely remove wild animals from the winter season, together with employees of the State Forestry Institution of the city and the participation of media representatives in the nurseries of Zeravshan, Tegirmon , Rajabali and Nilufar of the city of Penjikent and in the area of Iskodar of the Aini district, biotechnical work was carried out.

In total, 200 kg of wheat, 150 kg of barley, 43 bags of rice, 100 kg of salt and 100 kg of corn were distributed in this area. Biotechnical work is also planned to be carried out in other high-mountainous areas of the city of Penjikent and the Aini district in case of cold weather.

According to the information, animals such as wild boar, hare, wolf, bear, snow leopard, partridge and various species of wild birds live in these areas.
