Carrying out the action "Cleanliness of the area" in the Vakhsh region                                                                  

In the Vakhsh district, at the initiative of the environmental protection sector, in the center of the district and rural jamoats, in order to implement the Action Plan of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Main Department for Environmental Protection in the Khatlon region, dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the State Independence of the country, an environmental campaign "Cleanliness of the area" was held, in which local residents, workers of various professions, civil society activists took part.

The action participants cleared roads, gutters, territories of organizations, institutions, other public places, and contributed to the improvement of the environment.

The head of the environmental protection sector in the Vakhsh district, Manuchehr Mahmadzoda, during the conversation said that the purpose of the action "Cleanliness of the area" is to strengthen the environmental education of residents, educate the younger generation in the spirit of nature protection, maintain a clean environment and implement an action plan related to the State a comprehensive program for the development of education and environmental education of the population of the region.
