Celebration of the World Environment Day in the city of Penjikent                            

On the basis of the approved action plan on the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection and Educational Institutions of the city of Penjikent, a festive program dedicated to the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day was implemented in the historical and archaeological reserve "Sarazm".

The event was attended by employees of the department, representatives of the city Department of Education, teachers and students of educational institutions No. 3, 30 and representatives of local media.

During the event, students spoke on topics related to environmental protection, environmental education, glacier melting, efficient use of water, land protection and waste management.

At the end of the event, employees of the Environmental Protection Department presented letters of thanks and gifts to teachers and students for their active participation in environmental events.
