City competition "Safoi Honadon"                                                                                                                 

In order to implement paragraph 10 of the Action Plan for the implementation of the "State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the population of the city of Dushanbe for 2021-2025", the decision of the Chairman of Dushanbe dated August 22, 2022, No. 443 "On holding the city competition "Safoi Honadon" for education and improving environmental literacy of the population of the city of Dushanbe was accepted for implementation.

According to the Regulations, the competition was held in two rounds, the first round was held in the districts of the city of Dushanbe, and the winners of the district competition are submitted by the district commission to the city commission.

In order to determine the winner and participants of the competition for summing up the results of the city tour, the city commission got acquainted with the current state of housing, the skill of a rational approach to saving water, the presence of indoor plants, attitude to others, the environment, the quality of family life, including the level of environmental education, the participation of residents in educational events and improvement of living space, cleanliness residential buildings, landscaping and improvement of residential buildings, attitude to preschool and school institutions, for this purpose, the members of the commission visited some selected families.

It should be noted that holding a competition among families is considered one of the main goals of raising awareness and environmental education among the population, such events play an important role in improving environmental literacy of people, especially women and girls.

The winners of the competition are evaluated by the members of the commission and awarded with gifts and a "Certificate of Honor" of the Executive Body of the State Authority of the city of Dushanbe.
