"Clean Air" campaign on the Khujand-Bobojon Gafurov highway

According to the work plan and in order to reduce emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere and improve the state of the environment and on the basis of the work plan of the Main Directorate, the Department of State Control over the Use and Protection of Atmospheric Air in cooperation with the Department of Ecology and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Sughd region, the "Clean Air" campaign was carried out on the Khujand - B. Gafurov highway.

During the inspections, 35 cars of various brands were checked and emissions of pollutants into the atmosphere as a result of fuel combustion (diesel fuel, gasoline and liquefied gas) were determined.

Administrative proceedings have been initiated against the driver of 1 vehicle for violating state standards and releasing excessive amounts of pollutants into the atmosphere. A protocol has been drawn up on this case and sent to the State Automobile Inspectorate of the district for taking measures.
