"Clean Coast" campaign in GBAO

On May 7 of this year, by order of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the GBAO on the implementation of the order of the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 14, 2022, No. 1 and the action plan of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the region, an environmental campaign "Clean Coast" was held on Tashmuhamedov Street in Khorog. 30 residents of the region took part in this event and cleared one km of roads from various waste.

During the campaign, 1 m³ of solid household waste was collected from the banks of the Gunt River and taken to the landfill.

The purpose of these events is to maintain the cleanliness and order of the banks of rivers, channels and streams.
