Cleanliness of the environment is the key to the health of the generation

                                                                                                                          

In order to fulfill the instructions and instructions of the Committee for Environmental Protection and the work plan of the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Gissar, as well as to improve the environmental situation and turn the city into an ecologically clean environment, cleanup and recreational work was carried out this week on the initiative of environmental activists, with the participation of workers of various professions and students of educational institutions in the city of Gissar.

More than 300 people took an active part in this campaign, who were engaged in cleaning up the area around administrative buildings, in settlements, on the banks of canals and streams. The participants also cleared the Dushanbe-Gissar-Tursunzoda highway from various wastes and loosened the soil around the flowering bushes on the roadsides of the highway. As a result, 10 m3 of various wastes were collected and taken to the city's official landfill.

The wide participation of the population in environmental events testifies to the high level of environmental education of the city's population. Employees of the Department of Environmental Protection regularly carry out explanatory work among the population and employees of jamoats on issues of cleanliness and improvement of the environment.
