Closing Ceremony of the Constituency Meeting of the Global Environment Facility (GEF) for Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Switzerland - 2023               

                                          

On May 19, 2023, at the Hilton Hotel, with the participation of representatives of the State Committee for Environmental Protection, the closing ceremony of the regional meeting of the Global Environment Facility for Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Switzerland - 2023 was held. Republic of Tajikistan, Head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan, representatives of the above countries and the Global Environment Facility.

During the closing ceremony of this meeting, representatives of the Global Environment Facility expressed their gratitude to the Republic of Tajikistan for hosting this event at a high level, and expressed confidence in strengthening relations between the Fund and Tajikistan in the direction of biodiversity protection, agrobiology, climate change and biological safety.

It should be noted that this event was organized with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan by the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and jointly with the Global Environment Facility.

Our event will be held from May 18 to May 20 of this year, on May 20 a study visit of participants to the Muminabad district of Khatlon region is planned.
