Competition - environmental quiz with students of Kanibadam city schools

                                          

In order to comply with the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Environmental education of the population", the implementation of the action plan "Comprehensive State Program for the development of education and environmental education of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" and increase the level of environmental knowledge of students, specialists of the Main Department and the environmental protection sector in Kanibadam closely cooperate with the NGO "Youth Group on Environmental Protection", by the Aarhus Center of Khujand.

A quiz contest between teams of 6 educational institutions on the implementation of the action plan of the International Decade of Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028" and World Earth Day was held at the general education institution No. 24 of the Puloton rural jamoat of Kanibadam. The event was organized according to the terms "Greeting", "Homework", "Support Group" and "Quiz". As a result, the team "Katra" OOOO No. 20 took 1st place, the teams "Tabiat" OOOO No. 21 and "Obi Toza" OOOO No. 24 took 2nd place and won the cup and prizes of the competition.

For the active participation of the team "Obi Zulol" OOOO No. 46, "Glacier" OOOO No. 37 and "Defenders of Nature" OOOO No. 17 received memorable gifts. The representative of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region presented the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan to the winning team of this competition.

         It is worth noting that the event was held within the framework of the project "Support for the protection of water resources through the formation of a careful attitude and the presentation of innovative projects for the effective use of water in the Fergana Valley".
