Congratulations from the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmajon on the occasion of the World Environment Day

                     

I sincerely congratulate all colleagues, lovers and defenders of nature on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of World Environment Day. Since its independence, the Republic of Tajikistan has been recognized as an initiator in presenting and discussing global issues in the world.

That is why the capital city of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, has become the center of major international forums in the field of environmental protection.

Today a number of representatives from around the world came to the Republic of Tajikistan to participate in the high-level forum dedicated to the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028". All this testifies to the humane and nature-loving policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon.

It is the sacred duty of every conscious and farsighted person to treat nature wisely and protect it as the apple of his or her eye.

Our goal is to cooperate with central and local authorities, labor collectives, and educational institutions to develop public attitudes and patriotism of every member of our society so that our beloved Motherland will be more prosperous, beautiful, and clean.

May every resident of our independent Motherland make an active contribution to the prosperity and cleanliness of his city, to the protection of the diversity of nature of our Motherland.
