Consultative meeting of Directors of Regional Environmental Centers of Central Asia                         

On June 7, 2022, within the framework of the 2nd High-level International Conference on the International Decade for Action "Water for Sustainable Development, 2018-2028", which is being held on June 6-9 in Dushanbe, a meeting of directors of regional environmental centers of Central Asia was held in the hall of the central office of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the opening of the meeting, Zulfukhar Zholdasov, Chairman of the central administration, made a speech and proposed for approval the share of the delegation of participants.

Zafar Mahmudov, Executive Director of the Regional Environmental Center for Central Asia (CAREC), delivered a report on the execution of the instructions of the Executive Director following the 53rd meeting of the CAREC Board of Governors.

At the same time, the participants discussed the issues of the SDC institutional financing project, the presentation of KPIs-the main indicators of the activity of the CAREC branch in Tajikistan, the management of the commission among the members of the Board of Governors for the selection of a candidate for the position of director of the CAREC branch in the Kyrgyz Republic, the analytical result-the mechanism for paying salaries of the CAREC branch, internal audits on personnel issues and other related issues.

At the end of the meeting, these issues were summed up and the participants made a final conclusion.
