Contribution to the restoration of the forest of the city of Kanibadam

                    

                                                                

A planting campaign was held in the forest area of the city of Kanibadam, as a result of which four types of trees were planted, including mulberry, jigda, grapes and holly, a total of 9 thousand trees. More than 70 representatives of the Public Organization "Youth Group for Environmental Protection", the Society of Hunters and Fishermen of the Sughd region, students of the Mining and Metallurgical Institute of Tajikistan, Academician Bobojon Gafurov Khujand State University and the local population took an active part in the action.

The Tukai forest plays an important role in maintaining ecological balance and is a habitat for various animal species. Unfortunately, the inhabitants of the forest are destroyed by anthropogenic human impacts, such as deforestation, fires, regular grazing of large numbers of livestock.

In order to restore and preserve this unique ecosystem, practical measures are constantly being taken, which contributes to the creation of favorable conditions for local animals and the preservation of biological diversity.

This event was held in cooperation with the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the Sughd region, the executive authorities of the city of Kanibadam, the Public Organization "Youth Group for Environmental Protection" and with the financial support of the "Cooperation Fund for the Protection of Important Ecosystems in a Vulnerable State".

Carrying out such reforestation works is a valuable contribution to the preservation and transfer of the forest to future generations and to support the ecological sustainability of the region.
