Control operation for the protection of fish resources in the area of N. Khusrav

Specialists of the environmental protection sector in the Nosiri Khusrav region, together with employees of the department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Nosiri Khusrav region, carried out joint raids in February this year to protect fish resources.

As a result of operational control operations in the territory of Nosiri, Khusrav region, 3 residents of the Jaihun region, the rural jamoat Yakadin, the village of Balkhi, Zhanikulzoda Behruz Zhonikul, and two other persons were detained while illegally fishing.

It should be noted that illegal fishing of 50 species of eel and 7 species of carp was revealed, in total 57 species of illegally caught fish. Protocols were drawn up against the detainees on the basis of Article 208 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan.
