Ecological campaign "Clean Road" from the Dushanbe exit to the Istiqlol tunnel of Khatlon region        

On the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan, on March 4 of this year, in order to meet national and international holidays, a campaign "Clean Road" was organized and held at the republican level from the Dushanbe exit to the Istiqlol tunnel of the Khatlon region.

Employees of the central office of the Committee and its subordinate structures, the Ministry of Transport of the Republic of Tajikistan and 30 local supporters took an active part in this action. Participants were provided with special clothing, gloves and bags for waste collection.

During this event, 30 km of road was cleared on both sides of the Dushanbe-Khatlon highway, as a result of which 25 m3 of waste was collected and transported to the official landfill of Vahdat by special vehicles.

It is worth noting that this is the first initiative, and such events will continue.
