Educational seminar dedicated to World Earth Day                 

                    

                                                                

On April 20, 2023, a training seminar dedicated to World Earth Day, which is celebrated annually on April 22, was held in the hall of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the Sughd region. This event was attended by employees of the Main Directorate and specialists from the environmental protection sectors of cities and districts of this region, related to the control of land protection. In accordance with the program of the seminar, reports were heard by the main experts on ways to improve the reclamation state of arable lands in the Sughd region, the use of land resources and its environmental consequences, information on the organization of the Earth Day, the procedure for determining damage from land pollution.

At the same time, issues of prevention of erosion and desertification of lands, restoration of the forest protection line and work to determine the damage to land resources were discussed. As part of the discussion of the reports and the analysis of the speeches, a discussion was held on the issues under discussion, the participants received specific answers to their questions.
