Environmental activities in Gissar, dedicated to World Environment Day

At the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Hissar on June 4 this year, in honor of World Environment Day, environmental actions were organized and conducted in all jamoats of the city. During the events, about 300 workers of various professions, students of secondary educational institutions and residents of Jamoats took an active part.

The participants cleaned the banks of aryks, rivers, around administrative buildings, along roads and sidewalks, residential areas from garbage and plastic and polyethylene waste.

As a result, 10 m3 of waste was collected in special bags and transported with the help of special equipment to the official landfill of the city.

The purpose of such actions is to keep the environment clean and thereby increase the level of environmental awareness of the population.
