In order to implement the "State Comprehensive Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" and fulfill the instructions of Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Ziezoda Sulaimon on the implementation of decisions of the Interdepartmental State Commission on Environmental Education of the Population, whose meeting was held at the National Library on September 28, 2022, on the basis of the joint action plan of the Main Department of Environmental Protection and the Main Department of Education of the city of Dushanbe, special lessons, conversations and meetings on various environmental topics were held in educational institutions.

Similar training sessions were held at the general secondary education institution No. 25 of the Sino district of the city of Dushanbe. At the beginning, the director of the institution, Rajabova Surayo, said that environmental events are constantly being held to implement the state program and students are actively participating in these events.

Then the chief specialist of the Dushanbe City Education Department, Yorzoda Asliddin, noted that the contribution of educational institutions to the implementation of the State Program is significant, and various activities are being carried out in this direction. He also added that 7 main points of the State Program relate to the field of education and are implemented according to joint plans and activities.

Okil Tuimakhmad, Chief Specialist of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe, stressed that in connection with the increase in the level of environmental education of the population, the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan adopted three state programs, with the development of environmental education of the population of the city of Dushanbe, many events were held, such as quizzes, conferences, environmental meetings and others conducted by the Main Department for Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe.

The General Directorate for Environmental Protection in the city of Dushanbe intends to continue such training sessions in the institutions of general secondary education in the city of Dushanbe.
