Expert meeting on preparation of the Third Meeting of Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States responsible for Environmental Protection

On 26 May 2022 in Toshkent (Uzbekistan) there was held the Session of Experts on preparation to the Third Meeting of the Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization Member States in charge of environmental issues, attended by the delegation of the Republic of Tajikistan.

During the meeting the parties discussed the progress in implementation of the Action Plan on implementation of the 2022-2024 SCO cooperation concept in the field of environmental protection, as well as a draft program for establishment of a common platform for exchange of environmental information.

As part of the meeting the issues were discussed and agreed upon for approval on 27 May 2022 at the Third Meeting of Heads of Ministries and Agencies of the SCO Member States Responsible for Environmental Protection.
