Extended meeting following the results of the 5-month activity of the Committee and its subordinate bodies                  

                                          

On June 2, 2023, under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, an expanded meeting was held following the results of the 5-month activity of the Committee and its subordinate bodies.

At the meeting, in person and via videoconference, the management, heads of departments, departments, institutions and projects operating under the Committee, heads of the main departments of environmental protection in GBAO, Sughd region, Khatlon region and Dushanbe, the department of environmental protection in the Kulyab districts of the Republican subordination, Hydrometeorological Agency, MO "Specially Protected Natural Territories" and others.

Shukurov I.V., Head of the Department of Monitoring, Environmental Policy, Meteorology and Cadastre, made a report on the 5-month activities of the Committee and its sectoral bodies.

Then the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon summed up the ongoing work, especially noted the issues of untimely performance of their duties, decisions and received instructions by some sectoral bodies, asked responsible officials about their reasons.

The officials assured the Chairman of the Committee that the shortcomings will be eliminated, that all comments will be taken urgent measures, before the end of the six-month activity, they will sum up the half-year with significant results, and present a full report on the results of their work.

  After a comprehensive consideration of the agenda items, the meeting, taking into account the analysis of activities and proposals, adopted a specific decision, which is sent to the leaders for monitoring and taking the necessary measures.
