Landscaping in Victory Park

                    

At the initiative of the management of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in support of the initiative of the Mayor of Dushanbe to turn the city of Dushanbe into a "green" city in autumn 2022 and spring 2023, 6715 species of ornamental pines were planted on hills and in recreation parks.

In order to green the hills of the Victory Park and protect the forest, 4,715 seedlings were planted by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan according to the plan approved by the executive authorities of the city of Dushanbe.

According to the agreement of the management of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Aga Khan Foundation, with the participation of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Qiyomzoda Z. S. and employees of the Aga Khan Foundation, more than 1,000 seedlings were planted on a certain area of the Victory Park and Forest Protection in compliance with agrotechnical requirements.

It is worth to remind that the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Deputies of Dushanbe on turning Dushanbe into a "green" city was the first to be supported by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and many organizations contribute to the greening of the city.

We emphasize that the management of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan has played a leading role in the development of landscaping and greening of the capital, and work in this direction will continue.
