Landscaping works in the city of Hissar                                                                    

On the basis of the instructions of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the plans of the Executive Body of the State Authority of the city of Hissar, on August 13 of this year, on the initiative of the Department of Environmental Protection of the city, landscaping and environmental actions were organized and carried out.

More than 350 employees of various professions, residents of the village and employees of the Environmental Protection Department took an active part in these events.

The participants of the action repaired inter-street roads, cleaned around administrative buildings, residential streets, along the highway and the banks of rivers, canals and streams.

As a result, 4.8 m3 of waste was collected and taken to the official landfill of the city with the involvement of two trucks.

The purpose of attracting residents to environmental actions is to increase the level of environmental education of citizens.
