Meeting at the Environmental Protection Training Center in Penjikent

In order to prevent violations of the requirements of the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Subsoil", a meeting was held at the retraining center of the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Penjikent by field workers with the participation of a representative of the Department of Environmental Protection and Tourism of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan and 22 truck drivers in the Zarafshan region.

At the suggestion of the Prosecutor's Office of the city of Penjikent to eliminate violations and the causes and conditions conducive to them for the protection and efficient use of natural resources, the Head of the Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Penjikent told the participants about illegal mining.

At the end, the participants received concrete answers to their questions related to the prevention of violations, and assessed the meeting as useful and timely.

It should be noted that such explanatory work helps to prevent citizens from violating the requirements of legislation in the field of environmental protection, rational use and protection of underground natural resources.
