Meeting of the Chairman of the Committee with the delegation of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan                                          

On June 2, 2022, the Chairman of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon, met with a delegation of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan on cooperation between Switzerland and Tajikistan on environmental issues and climate change within the framework of the Memorandum of Understanding between the countries on Water Resources and Climate Change.

The Head of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan, Ms. Salome Steib, provided information on the implementation of the projects on "Provision of services on weather, water and climate" and "Cryosphere monitoring and modeling to improve adaptation in Central Asia", she also expressed gratitude for the support in the implementation of these projects.

Chairman of the Committee B. A. Sheralizoda expressed his views on the prospects of cooperation between the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Swiss Cooperation Office in Tajikistan.
