Meeting with media representatives on air quality monitoring                   

                                          

On the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, a training workshop on air quality monitoring was held at the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee on June 20 this year, which was attended by representatives of the media.

At the workshop, specialists of the Agency for Hydrometeorology of the Committee, including the Head of the Environmental Monitoring Department of the Agency, Samiev Sangin, made a report on the implementation of laws and decisions adopted in the field of atmospheric air, the Agency's activities in this area, including automatic air quality stations, route monitoring, data processing, air quality standards, information system, quality monitoring air on models and other issues related to the topic were discussed in detail.

Then, questions and answers were held between the speakers and representatives of the media, to which specific answers were given by industry experts.

The purpose of organizing and conducting such training workshop is to inform more journalists and provide the public with accurate weather information provided by industry experts.
