Meeting with representatives of the United States Agency for International Development in Tajikistan (USAID)

On April 7, 2022, a meeting was conducted between the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Ms.Kiyomzoda Z.S. and representatives of the United States Agency for International Development in Tajikistan (USAID). Issues related to Tajikistan's Nationally Determined Contribution implementation plan were discussed at the meeting.

During the meeting, the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee noted the importance of taking measures for adaptation and mitigation to climate change and intersectoral cooperation. Issues of capacity building and the establishment of an NDC Secretariat were also on the agenda of the meeting.
