Meeting with students in order to consolidate knowledge on ecology           

                                                                     

As part of the implementation of the action plan of the "State Comprehensive Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Education of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" in order to strengthen theoretical knowledge, acquire professional and practical skills and familiarize with the activities of environmental protection authorities in the meeting room of the Main Directorate for Environmental Protection in the Sughd region, a meeting was held with students of the 4th year of the specialty "Industrial ecology and rational environmental management" of the Polytechnic University of Tajikistan named after academician M.S.Osimi.

During the meeting, industry experts Sobirov Kh.F., Saidov Kh.M. and Yakubov B.Sh. they talked about the structure of environmental protection authorities, about the current laws and codes of the industry, about state control over environmental protection, the main functions of departments, the negative consequences of air pollution, about handling plastic waste and existing problems and ways to solve them, and the students were also introduced information about rare and endangered species of flora and fauna listed in the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan.

As a result, students received specific answers to their questions about the reason for planting spruce and its significance for the environment, the impact of large industrial enterprises on the environment, the importance of holding meetings and explanatory events with students.
