Opening of the museum of the Parmashokh mountain goat and the national armory in the Darvaz district of the GBAO oblast                  


                                          


On August 15 of this year, during the visit of the Founder of National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, in order to get acquainted with the progress of improvement measures to welcome the 35th anniversary of State Independence, as well as for conversations and meetings with residents of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region in the Darvaz region, the Museum of the mountain goat Parmashakh and a store of national goods were opened.

The purpose of creating this museum is to familiarize the population of Tajikistan and foreign tourists with the beautiful and picturesque country and the presentation of rare animals of Tajikistan, including the horned goat, snow leopard and Marco Polo sheep.

The construction of the museum of the Parmashokh mountain goat and the store of national goods in the Darvaz district of the Ministry of Education and Culture was carried out with high quality by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.

The total area of the museum building is 150 m2, and on an area of 25 m2 it is decorated with patterns of rare animals and birds. The useful area of the store is 75 m2, sidewalks made of ceramic and marble stones - 50 m2.

The museum plays a significant role in promoting the animal world of Tajikistan among foreign tourists and citizens of the republic.
