Opinion polls in the city of Vahdat                   

                                          

Every year, World Environment Day is celebrated all over the world on June 5, and this holiday is also celebrated in the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of environmental protection bodies and state authorities.

According to the directions of the Committee's work, the implementation of the Action Plan of the Integrated Program for the Development of Environmental Education of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Vahdat in order to improve the environment and improve environmental literacy of the population conducted a sociological survey with broad public participation on May 19 of this year.

During this survey, it was found that some people are well aware of issues related to the environment, while the other part does not have the necessary knowledge. Explanatory work was carried out with citizens through free conversation and explanation of simple examples.

As for the solution of environmental problems, the population has submitted several proposals that will be taken into account in the activities of the environmental protection authority.
