Participation of eco-volunteers of the Committee in the campaign "Dushanbe-Green City"                   

                                          

7 September, by the eco-volunteers of the Committee for Environmental Protection of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in honor of the Independence Day of the Republic of Tajikistan and on the eve of two important high-level events - the fifth consultative meeting of the heads of the Central Asian States and the next Meetings of the Council of Heads of States Founders of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea held in the capital on September 14-15, it was decided to organize and hold an action called "Dushanbe-Green City" in the park of the Great Kabir of the capital.

The Committee’s eco-volunteers, composed of students from the country’s higher education institutions,  observed the state of the park, the clean environment from residents and guests.

After observing, the volunteers conducted surveys with the vacationers of the park on the essence of the announcement "Dushanbe Green City" and distributed newsletters on the topics "Waste management", "Harm of plastic waste to the environment and health"," life without plastic".

We remind that carrying out such promotional actions and distributing information bulletins among residents and guests of the capital contributes to raising the level of environmental awareness and responsibility of the population.
