Participation of the Chairman of the Committee at the opening ceremony of the business forum of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan

                                          

On May 3, 2023, in the Congress Center of the city of Astana, the Republic of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the working visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - Leader of the Nation of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the Republic of Kazakhstan, a business forum of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Republic of Kazakhstan was held, where the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon took part and spoke at the opening ceremony of this event.

In his speech, the Chairman of the Committee raised issues of environmental protection, climate change and ecology in the context of bilateral cooperation between Tajikistan and Kazakhstan. Also, special attention was paid to the next initiative of the Leader of the Nation to declare 2025 the International Year for the Protection of Glaciers, which was adopted by the resolution of the United Nations General Assembly.

In conclusion, the Chairman of the Committee expressed his hope that issues related to environmental protection will attract the attention of the relevant authorities and business structures and will be taken into account when attracting and implementing "green" investment projects.
