Participation of the Committee in the opening of the "Seventh Assembly of the Global Environment Facility"                 

                                          

On August 23, 2023, the opening ceremony of the “Seventh Assembly and related meetings of the Global Environment Facility” was held in Vancouver, Canada, in which a delegation of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan took part.

It is worth noting that the Assembly of the Global Environment Facility is held every four years, and one of the main issues on the agenda of this Assembly is the launch of the Global Biodiversity Framework (GBFF), which will help attract investment in the field of ecology in developing countries.

It must be said that within the framework of the 7th Assembly of the Global Environment Facility, meetings of the Chairman of the Committee, Sheralizod Bahodur Ahmadjon with the heads of international organizations and ministers of environmental protection agencies are planned.
