Preparations for the regional meeting of the Global Environment Facility for Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Switzerland - 2023       

                                          

On May 15, 2023, a meeting of the organizers of the regional meeting of the Global Environment Facility for the countries of Central Asia, Azerbaijan and Switzerland - 2023 was held in Dushanbe. Related issues were discussed at the meeting, and the head of the Monitoring Department made a presentation on the State Environmental Program for 2023-2028 , environmental policy, meteorology and cadastre Shukurov I.

We remind you that on May 18-20, 2023, delegations from the countries of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Switzerland will take part in the regional meeting of the Global Environment Facility.

The meeting will be held with the participation of representatives of relevant ministries and departments of Central Asian countries, as well as international organizations.

This event was organized with the support of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan by the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and in cooperation with the Global Environment Facility.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss issues of country coordination, expansion of communications and efforts to access information, regional governance, procedures that countries should receive from the review of the implementation of Global Environment Facility projects.

It should be noted that this event provides an opportunity to obtain information, exchange of views and experience of regional participants on issues related to the agenda of the Council of the Global Environment Facility.
