Promotion in Auchan mall                                              

On July 3, 2022, the campaign "One day without plastic bags" was held in the Auchan mall in Dushanbe. The buyers were provided with ecological bags made of cotton and paper materials along with booklets on the topics "The harm of plastic to the environment and human health", "Waste management and environmental protection", "Do not burn solid household waste and leaves!". On the part of the Aarhus Center of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the OSCE Program Office in Dushanbe, a quiz was organized with buyers on the topic “Why should we stop using plastic bags?”

From the feedback of the majority of buyers during the campaign, it became clear that they have sufficient information about the impact and harm of using plastic bags on the environment and human health.

Ecological bags were provided free of charge to active participants for correct and accurate answers.
