Regular workshop in the city of Vahdat                     

                                                                

According to the action plan of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Department of Environmental Protection in the city of Vahdat together with the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan on April 6 this year in the hall of the College of Statistics of the city of Vahdat organized a scientific and theoretical workshop dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the study and development of exact and natural sciences, on the topic "Internationalization protection of glaciers" with the participation of students and teachers.

The workshop was attended by the chief specialist of the Department of Environmental Protection of Vahdat Solihzoda Saidirfon Kutbiddin, who spoke about the location and protection of the largest glacier "Fedchenko", about the protection of natural resources and their rational use. It was noted that it is a matter of pride and happiness that the sphere of environmental protection is under the special attention of the HE Emomali Rahmon, and since 2003 his initiatives supported by many countries of the world have been considered at the UN.

Quotes were given from the Constitution of the Republic of Tajikistan, which states that environmental protection is the duty of every patriot of the country.

During the workshop, teachers and students of the college made presentations on the topics "Protection of glaciers saves the nation", "Consequences of climate warming and melting of glaciers" and "A country taking the initiative in solving water and climate problems".

The reports made were accepted with interest by college students.
