Reviewing the results of the Committee's activities for 2021

On January 5, 2022, a meeting of the collegium for the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan was conducted in Dushanbe. The collegium was attended by the heads of departments, heads of divisions and subdivisions, projects implementing in the sector, the Head Environmental Protection Department of GBAO, regions, Dushanbe city, departments and subdivisions of environmental protection of cities and districts of the republic, the Agency for Hydrometeorology, State Enterprise "Specially Protected Natural Areas", other subordinate organizations of the Committee.

In the framework of collegium, there had been discussed the activity outputs of the Committee on Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and its subordinate bodies in 2021, and the tasks of the sector for 2022".

Deputy Chairman of the Committee Mavlodod A.M. reported on the activities of the Committee and its subordinate bodies for the previous year, analyzing the activities of structural departments, focusing on shortcomings and omissions, as well as measures to eliminate them.

During the meeting of the collegium the heads of the main departments of environmental protection in GBAO Nazaraliev M., Sogd region Khakimzoda Abdukhad, Khatlon region Musozoda Sherali, Dushanbe city Rahimzoda Nurullo, Kulyab city environmental protection department Sokhibov K., other heads of subordinate bodies also reported on the activities of the bodies.

The meeting was summarized by the Chairman of the Committee Sheralizoda Bakhodur Ahmadzhon, who charged concrete instructions to improve the performance of regional environmental protection branches, as well as compliance with current regulatory requirements, strengthening of state sectoral control, the responsibility of heads of agencies in carrying out their direct responsibilities.

The representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Deputy Head of the Department of Human Rights Guarantees of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Orzuzoda Firuz took part and made a speech at the collegium meeting.
