Round table on the topic "Preservation of Glaciers" in Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region               

                                                                

On March 14 of this year, a round table on the topic "Preservation of glaciers" was held in the Main Department of Environmental Protection of GBAO. The event was attended by employees of the Main Department, the Department of Environmental Protection of the city of Khorog, teachers of educational institutions of the city of Khorog, Shugnan district, Rushan and students of the city of Khorog. At the round table, employees of the Main Department and teachers of educational institutions told about the protection of glaciers, prevention of atmospheric air pollution, reduction of emissions into the atmosphere, and environmental protection measures.

Also, prizes were awarded at the round table to the winners of the republican contest "Climate Change", awarded by the Majlisi Namoyandagoni Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan.
