Roundtable in Goziyon jamoat, Bobojon Gafurov district

In the lobby of the administrative building of jamoat Goziyon Bobojon Gafurov district a round table discussion was held in the framework of the implementation of the "State Integrated Programme of Environmental Education and Enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025".

The round table was devoted to the creation of a working group to ensure interaction and coordination of rehabilitation work in the community, which was attended by representatives of the administration of communities, the chairmen of the Makhali committees, health centers, secondary schools, housing and media.

According to the program of the round table, representatives of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in the region, PA "Youth Environmental Protection Squad", Aarhus Center in Khujand, an environmental expert and the chief editor of the regional newspaper "Sogdian Truth" made a presentation on the state program, the activities of Aarhus Center and "Green Patrol" program, environmental monitoring, plans for further work.

In turn, representatives of the Center for Health and Housing and Communal Services provided information on the state of public health, as well as access to safe drinking water.

It should be noted that these activities are implemented within the framework of the Project "Stakeholder Involvement in Solving the Problem of Uranium Waste in Central Asia, Phase II".
