Scientific and theoretical conference dedicated to Earth Day at the Medical College of the city of Gissar                                             

April 26 of this year, at the initiative of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan at the State Educational Institution “Medical College” of the city of Gissar in order to implement the points of the “State Comprehensive Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Education of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025” with the participation of teachers and students of this medical college held a scientific - theoretical conference dedicated to the international ecological holiday of Earth Day.

The head of the Aarhus Center of the Committee, J. Yakubov, spoke about the essence of the holiday - Earth Day, and noted the activities carried out by the Committee for Environmental Protection in honor of this environmental holiday.

Deputy Head of the Center for Environmental Information, Propaganda and Computer Programming Sangov I. in his report spoke about the State programs adopted by the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in the areas of environmental education, as well as the implementation of the “State Comprehensive Program for the Development of Environmental Education and Education of the Population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021- 2025".

  Teachers of this college Ulugzoda O., Farmonzoda B., Muradova D. and Gairatova F. made presentations on the topics “Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On Environmental Education”, “Water and Health”, “Glaciers of Tajikistan” and “Nature Protection - Protection of the Motherland ". The participants of the conference discussed the reports with interest, the students received exhaustive answers to their questions.
