Signing of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of environmental protection

                 

On May 3, 2023, in the city of Astana of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the field of environmental protection was held as part of the working visit of the Founder of Peace and National Unity - the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon to the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed by the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bahodur Ahmadjon and the Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources of the Republic of Kazakhstan Suleymanova Zulfiya.

It should be noted that this Memorandum concerns the issues of improving state environmental regulation and control in the field of environmental protection, exchanging experience in solving environmental problems and introducing new technologies in the field of environmental protection, exchanging environmental knowledge and skills for the implementation of international environmental documents, strengthening cooperation with the private sector and non-governmental organizations in the implementation of important programs and initiatives in the field of environmental protection and sustainable development, and so on.
