Solemn meeting dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan                     

                                          

On November 15, 2023, a solemn meeting of the Committee staff dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 31st anniversary of the fateful session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the hall of the Agency for Hydrometeorology.

The meeting was attended by the management of the Committee, heads and other employees of structural divisions of the central office of the Committee, centers and subordinate institutions of the branch system, the Agency for Hydrometeorology, the State Institution "Specially Protected Natural Territories" and invited guests.

First Deputy Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Kiyomzoda Zarafo Sufijon opened the event and read out the congratulatory text of the Chairman of the Environmental Protection Committee dedicated to the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 31st anniversary of the XVI fateful session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan.

At the meeting, in particular, it was noted that November 16 was declared the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, because it was this fateful day that determined the fate of the future of Tajikistan, from this day a new stage of statehood begins, the newly elected president has begun to fulfill his duties.

The achievements of the period of independence under the leadership of the great leader of the nation Emomali Rahmon are precious, the pages of the history of the new statehood of Tajikistan are written in golden letters. Therefore, we should be grateful that we have such a Motherland, a guiding and caring Leader who managed to organize national unity and cohesion, which saved the Motherland from war. We should appreciate the efforts of the leader of the nation, Emomali Rahmon, to work together on the improvement of this evergreen and proud land, it was noted in the speeches.

The event was attended by guests Ali Mukhammadii Khurosoni, literary critic and poet, Head of the Department of Textual Studies, Research and Written Works of the Center for Linear Heritage and Rakhmonzoda Azimjon, Deputy Director of the Eurasian Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Tajikistan, who spoke about the achievements of the period of independence of the country, foreign policy and international relations, implemented under the leadership and efforts of the Leader of Tajikistan. Emomali Rahmon.

In their speeches, in particular, they noted that the 16th session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan contributed to the strengthening of state power, the development of national independence, determined the direction of development of society for the next years, the development of a democratic, secular and legal society, created a real basis for this.

At the end, the poet Ali Muhammadi Khurosoni read his patriotic poems, which were warmly welcomed by the participants of the meeting.
