The regional round of the Golden Autumn competition                   

                                          

According to the action plan of the decision of the Chairman of the Sughd region on the implementation of the "Comprehensive State Program for the Development of Environmental Education and enlightenment of the population of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2021-2025" and dedicated to the holiday "Mehrgon", the regional round of the Golden Autumn competition was held in the educational institution No. 27 of the Mastchoh district.

Every year, in October, in order to activate the work of clubs, institutions of general and additional education, environmental children's associations in matters of nature protection of the country, creativity and enrichment of the spiritual world of students, a competition is held by the Center for Additional Education of the Regional Department of Education in cooperation with the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Sughd region. This year, more than 300 participants of city and district tours from 16 cities and districts of the region took an active part in the regional round of the competition.

In addition to the winners of the competition, diplomas and gifts were awarded to the holders of the 2nd and 3rd places, and the initiative group of students on environmental protection "Green Watchers" was awarded 16 letters of thanks for their active nature protection activities and participation in the competition. 

As noted by the judges, the chief specialist of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Sughd region, H. M. Saidov and I. Mamadov, the head of the group "Youth Group for Environmental Protection" of the Aarhus Center in Khujand, the winners of this competition were awarded several copies of the Red Book of the Republic of Tajikistan.
