The Republic of Tajikistan, as one of the world's leading water countries, is taking the initiative to declare 2025 the International Year of Glacier Conservation and set a date for World Glacier Day. 

We remind that the "Green Action Climate Month" that is taking place in our country is organized by the Committee for Environmental protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in cooperation with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH.
