The results of the activities of the Main Department of Environmental Protection in Khatlon region for 2022 have been summed up                                              

On January 5, 2023, a meeting on the results of the activities of the Main Department of Environmental Protection of the Khatlon region in 2022 was held in the hall of the Department of Water Management and Irrigation of the Khatlon region with the participation of the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Qiyomzoda Zarafo Sufijon.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the executive authorities of the Khatlon region, employees of the Main Department of Environmental Protection and its divisions in the cities and districts of the Khatlon region.

The Head of the Main Department Saidzoda Idilo reported on the results of the annual activities of the Main Department and divisions in the cities and districts of the Khatlon region.

It was noted that the environmental protection authorities of the region carried out their activities in 2022 on the basis of instructions and instructions of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, HE Emomali Rahmon, decisions of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Committee for Environmental Protection and the Executive Body of the state Authority of the region and achieved significant results by the end of 2022.

The First Deputy Chairman of the Committee instructed the employees of the Main Department of Environmental Protection and its subordinate bodies in the cities and districts of the region to outline concrete measures to improve the state of the environment in priority areas in the field of landscaping, construction, landscaping and healthcare in the cities and districts of Khatlon region dedicated to the preparation of the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, to keep clean and to protect settlements, roads, streets and avenues, to protect water sources from pollution,  for these purposes, to systematically carry out campaigns "Clean Area", "Clean Coast", "Clean Road", useful recommendations and tips on the broad involvement of workers of the national economy and the population of the district in environmental activities are given.

Based on the results of the activities of the Environmental Protection Department and its subordinate bodies in the cities and districts of the Khatlon region in 2022 and the tasks for 2023, an appropriate decision was made containing instructions to industry officials in a number of cities and districts of the Khatlon region, tasks for the timely performance of official duties, elimination of existing shortcomings.
